PETASIL was established by a group of three friends who shared a common goal to create high-quality shoes for children. The company name, PETASIL, was derived from the first letters of the three friends, PEreira, TAvares, and SILva. Their dream was to own their own business and make shoes that they could be truly proud of. In April 1988, their aspirations became a reality when they founded the company in the heart of the shoe industry. Every pair of Petasil shoes is made from premium leather and engineered to be as pliable and comfortable as possible.
